Shigeru Higa, 97, of Aiea, an Army veteran who served with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, died in Aiea. He was born in Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Leatrice H.; sons Alan, Brian and Hal; daughters Ruby and Lois; brother Richard M.; sister Mildred T. Chibana; and two grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
