77Kenneth Shizuo "Knute" Okita, 85, of Waipahu, a Hawaiian Sugar Planters' Association retiree, died in Honolulu. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by wife Jean; daughters Colette Kinoshita and Jill Okita; brother Thomas Uyeno; sisters Doris Igarashi, Sister MaryVianney, Jean Murakawa and Nora Ginoza; and two grandchildren.
