77David Torres Alvarez, 84, of Kaneohe, a retired MTL bus driver, died in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Robert, Barney, Duane, Lincoln and Herbert; daughters Davealyn Alvarez, Agnes Cooley, Paulene Staszkow and Melissa Shimomura; stepson Stephen; stepdaughter Herminia Peters; brothers Benjamin and Angelino; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Visitation: 10:30 a.m. April 4 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary.
