Leichi Higashiguchi, 87, of Honolulu, an Army veteran who served in World War II with the 100th Battalion, 442nd Regimental Combat Team, and owner and president of Eastgate Distributors, died in Honolulu. He was born in Hana, Maui. He is survived by wife Mildred, sons Mark and Dennis, daughters Laurie Planas and Julie Higashiguchi, brother George, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Star of the Sea Church, 4470 Aliikoa St., Honolulu. Mass: 11 a.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.
