Eugene "Captain" Pacheco, 82, of Hilo, a retired Hilo Coast Processing Co. employee and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Helen, son Tracy, daughters Debra Tajon and Sharie Pacheco-Enovejas, sister Agnes, 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 6 p.m. Friday at Family Christian Center in Hilo, 168 Holomua St. Services: 7 p.m. Graveside services: 9 a.m. Saturday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. No flowers.
