Masashi "Porky" Hatada, 88, of Hilo, co-owner of Hatada and Robert's Bakeries, and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Pohai Malama. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Tokiko; sons Wendell, Darrell, Curtis and Derrick; brothers Shunichi, Kengo and George; and sister Betty Hirota. Visitation: 3:30 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 5 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
