Francis P. Berongis, 67, of Las Vegas, formerly of Mililani, a retired fry cook and Navy veteran, died in Las Vegas. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Conan and Colin; sisters Jeanette Abear and Sylvia and Arleen Berongis, Suzanne Joseph and Lynette Stoeck; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation:9 a.m. to noon Monday at Catheral of Our Lady of Peace. Committal of ashes at sea:9 a.m. Wednesday. Casual attire. No flowers.
