78James Nobuo Takayama, 84, of Honolulu, a retired Cutter Dodge service manager, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Elaine E.; daughters Renee T. Hirayasu, Cheryl M. Grey and Edlyn S. Yoshida; brothers Robert T. and Arthur Y.; sister Thelma S. Nakashima; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Private services.
