72Shizue Matsubara, 94, of Kaneohe, a Del Monte food preparation employee, died in Kaneohe. She was born in South Hilo. She is survived by husband Masatoshi; daughters Eda I. Chin and Karen K. Kodama; brother Shiro Higaki; sisters Bettie F. Kakemoto, Aileen M. Keliikuloa and Michiko and Esther M. Higaki; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Private services. Flowers welcome.
