79Betty Sam, 84, of Honolulu, a retired Chaminade University secretary, died in Kaiser Medical Center. She was born in Aurora, Ill. She is survived by husband Gordon K.F., son Stephen P., brothers Jesse and Arthur "Art" Navarro, and three grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. June 5 at Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Inurnment: 2 p.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
