Lloyd Chikara Murakami, 89, of Honolulu, a retired U.S. government machinist at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and an Army veteran, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Hazel M., son Myles S., daughter Maris M. Hatae, brother Akira, sisters Nancy Arakaki and Dora Adachi, and two grandchildren. Private services.
