Evaristo "Ernie" Avergonzado, 80, of Ewa Beach, a Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard forklift operator and a Marine Corps veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in Honolulu. He was born in Hamakua, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Nena M.; sons Ernest, Carl, Steven and Andrew M.; sister Phelomena Goles; five grandchildren; and four great-grand- children. Private services.
