71Makiko Leon, 76, of Pepeekeo, Hawaii, a homemaker, died in Pohai Malama. She was born in the Marshall Islands. She is survived by sons Russell, Francis N. and Leonard Leon, and Stephen Joel; daughters Drusi Callan, Mary Silk, Paula Samuel, Rose Lewis, Meriba Barnachea, and Takion, Maggie and Elisa Leon; brothers Taklur and Emlin Balos; sister Loretta Balos; 46 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. All-day vigil to be held 9 a.m. Wednesday to 8 a.m. Thursday at 1256 Basque Place, Kaumana. Mass: 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Papaikou. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire.
