80Ernest Moniz Jr., 65, of Kalaheo, Kauai, a retired battalion fire chief and electrical contractor, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. He is survived by wife Jo Anne T., son Desmond, daughter Jennifer, brothers John and Stacy, sister Antonia and a grandchild. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kalaheo. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Hanapepe Veterans Cemetery.
