Yutaka Shimabukuro, 88, of Honolulu, a retired carpet installer and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Kapaa, Kauai. He is survived by wife Hisae, son Mark, daughters Lynne Sasaki and Irene Keoho, brother Glenn, sisters Jane Sakamoto and Sueno Sakamaki, and three grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Sunday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5156 Kalanianaole Highway. Services: 4 p.m.
