Michael Mitsuo Ide, 92, of Honolulu, a retired plant operations superintendent for the Honolulu Board of Water Supply and an Army veteran who served with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Company M, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Kaneohe. He is survived by wife Kimiyo; daughters Karen and Joanne Ide, Janice Takahashi and Charlene Flanter; sisters Edith Nariyoshi, Gladys Samer, Ayame Ahuna and Florence Watanuki; and a grandchild. Private services. In lieu of monetary offerings, donations suggested to Kuakini Foundation.
