78Hatsue Uyehara, 98, of Hawaii Kai, a retired state Department of Education employee, died at home. She was born in Kaneohe. She is survived by sons Edwin and Lawrence; daughters Judy Uyehara, Jane Ushijima and Evangeline Shinsato; brother George Ige; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
