80Melsena "Mel" Montgomery, 71, of Hanalei, Kauai, a teacher in Santa Cruz, Calif., and a Picassiette mosaic artist, died. She was born in Long Beach, Calif. She is survived by husband Donald, sons Peter and Michael, brother Larry Lease and three grandchildren. Private services. Donations suggested to Kauai Hospice.
