74Theodora Benevides, 93, of Hilo, also known as "Etta" and "Nana," a homemaker and child care giver, died in Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama facility. She was born in Hakalau, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Anthony P., sons Sonny and Patrick Haleamau, hanai sons Anthony and Kaohe Haleamau, eight grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 8:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 11:30 a.m. at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
