79Dorothy Freitas Paiva, 85, of Honokaa, Hawaii, a retired cook at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel & Resort, died at home. She was born in Kalopa, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Patrick and Dennis, brother Edwin Freitas, sisters Janet Patten and Pat DeCambra, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside urn committal services: 9 a.m. Wednesday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2, Hilo.
