Silao "Pete" Fautanu Jr., 61, of Honolulu, a U.S. Department of Defense computer specialist and an Army specialist veteran, died in Las Vegas. He was born in Pago Pago, American Samoa. He is survived by wife LaDonna; sons Tate Fautanu and Christopher Tafao; daughters Jarrae Fautanu and Sapreena Leoso; brothers John and Poliko Fautanu, Iosefo Sefo, Lolesio Iosefo and Sagele Fagota; sisters Alofagia Fautanu, Analosa Sooalo, Finau Fautanu-Ram, Pauline Fautanu-Fiaigoa and Sesilia Tili; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Services: 11:30 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
