LIBBIE ANASTASIA BRAZ Libbie Anastasia Braz passed away peacefully at her home in Honolulu, Hawaii on August 1, 2014. Born on July 19, 1918 in Hopkins, MN, Libbie was a teacher and librarian in Minnesota and in Ola'a on the Island of Hawaii. She was the first librarian of Damien Memorial High School in Honolulu where she worked until retirement. Libbie was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Braz and is survived by her sons Norman Braz and wife Rosemarie of Casper, WY, and Kenneth Braz of Washington, D.C., grandchildren Sarah Braz and husband Charles Eads of West Lafayette, IN, Mary Braz of West Chester, PA, and David Braz and wife Lindsey DeVries of Grand Forks, ND. A visitation will be held on Thursday August 14 at Star of the Sea Church from 9:00 to 9:30 AM followed by the funeral service. Burial will be at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe at 11:00 AM.
