CYNTHIA LYNN MOONEY Cynthia Mooney (8/20/1957 - 7/6/2014) was born to Robert J. and Jewell Orr Mooney in San Francisco and raised in Kailua with sisters Patti Lewis, Barbara Hoppe, and Sandy Osborn. Cynthia and husband Bryan Amona are parents to Jasmine Keala Amona and Kaliko Amona McElheny and grandparents to Ka'ula, Mala'e, Leihiwa, and Keala. Cynthia graduated from Kailua High School, Hawai'i Loa College and worked as a nurse. She will be remembered for her genuine, kind spirit and joyous laugh. Memorial: Sat., Aug. 23 at Kailua Beach Park Pavilions. 2pm Visitation, 3pm Service. Paddle-out with release of loose flowers and reception to follow.
