INGEBORG RUDIGER Ingeborg Rudiger of Waianae, Hawaii passed away on Thursday, August 7th, 2014. Born in 1919 in Germany, she immigrated to the United States after the Second World War and was proud to become a US citizen, faithfully supporting the charities of disabled US veterans for much of her life. She was an actress, an avid admirer and participant in all the arts including opera and ballet, and loved classical music. She raised an amazing son, Peter Hinckley, whose caring and thoughtful ways were a proud legacy to her family. She is survived by her grandchildren, Suzanne Prenevau and Michael Hinckley, as well as her sister, Helga Buscher. Her husband, Harry Rudiger, was her faithful companion of many years, and she treasured her friendship with his sister, Trudy. She loved Hawaii, both it's natural beauty and the people. Her sharp wit, unique outlook on life, and family loyalty will be missed.
