Albert Shigeo Yoshii, also known as "Al" and "Shige," 70, of Honolulu, a retired assistant superintendent and director for the state Department of Education Office of Personnel Services and a Navy veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Honolulu. He was born in Lihue. He is survived by wife Lilliann A.; son Alton T.; daughter Alette S. Yoshii-Ho; brothers Roy I., Alan A. and Cary T. Taogoshi; and two grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Friday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
