FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

DAVID CHONG SHUN LUM
DAVID CHONG SHUN LUM September 7, 2014 David C.S. Lum, 92, of Honolulu, spent 35 years as a Federal civil service employee who worked at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard during WWII, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the U.S. Coast Guard. After retiring from his Federal career, he then worked for the City and County of Honolulu for 5 years as a Kaneohe waste water treatment plant operator. He died in Honolulu after a brief illness. He is survived by beloved wife Beatrice Lai Lum, sister Virginia Wat, daughter Shirleen (Eric) Willis, sons Vernon, Warren (Laura), and Mervin (Sandra) Lum, 4 grand- children and 5 great grand- children. Visitation time Saturday, September 20, at 9:00 a.m. at Borthwick Mortuary, followed by services at 10:00. Burial at Hawaiian Memorial Park on Tuesday, September 23 at 10:00 a.m. Casual/aloha attire. No flowers.
