Mitsuru Kato, 83, of Honolulu, a retired Hickam Air Force Base aircraft mechanic and an Air Force veteran, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. He is survived by sons Kyle and Kenn, brother Kiyoshi and three grandchildren. Visitation: 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 1:30 p.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
