Yoshiji Aoki, 93, of Honolulu, a retired Manoa Elementary School teacher and Army veteran who served in World War II with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Company L, died in Manoa Cottage. He was born in Aiea. He is survived by wife Kiyoko "Betty"; son Daniel S.; daughters Janice Y. Kong and Alisa H. Au; hanai daughter Corinne Drew; sisters Patsy T. Angel, Ella S. Kikuta and Frances Y. Kang; five grandchildren; a hanai grandchild; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at Manoa Valley Church, 2728 Huapala St. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
