Lawrence Min Tam "Larry" Ching, 88, of Honolulu, a retired aircraft mechanic at Hickam Air Force Base and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in San Jose, Calif. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Jeffrey and Daniel, daughters Cynthia Kiyama and Debra C. Yoshimura, brother Arthur, sister Lorraine Chang, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
