John Kalili “Mr. C†Casson, 84, of Kapolei, a retiree of Honolulu Rapid Transit, Mass Transit Lines and Oahu Transit Services, veteran of the Hawaii National Guard and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Kapolei. He was born in Lahaina. He is survived by wife Rebecca “Rubyâ€; sons Elmer Solidum Jr. and John Casson Jr.; daughters Roxanne Bruhn, and Jill and Malia Casson; brother David I‘i; sisters Irene Mitte and Henrietta Puahala; 12 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, KaneÂohe. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
