77Gerald Alan "Jerry" Wharton, 77, of Aiea, a retired supervising instrument technician at Hawaiian Electric, died in Aiea. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Priscilla "Penny"; son Jay; daughters Lisa Ann Cabang and Susan Cobbs; brothers Edward, Roger, Tommy and Bobbie; sister Sharon; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 10:30 a.m. Friday at the mortuary. Celebration of life: 11:30 a.m. Burial: 10:30 a.m. Oct. 20 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
