Francis Moku Malani Sr.
Oct. 9, 2014 Francis Moku Malani Sr., 89, of Honolulu, an Army veteran who served during World War II, the 1965-66 Aloha Week king, and a retired electrician with 3M and Wells Fargo, died in Honolulu. He was born in South Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Caroline; sons Francis Jr., Lloyd, Leslie and Gabriel; daughters Maria Kanoa-Medeiros and Leolander "Miki" Malani; brother Clement Sr.; sister Mona; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at Mililani Downtown Chapel, 20 S. Kukui St., Honolulu. Services: 11 a.m. Committal service: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
