73Gladys Toshiko Mawae, 87, of Pearl City, a retired Speedy's Supermarket cashier, died in Pearl City. She was born in Kaunakakai, Molokai. She is survived by sons Wes, Moses and James "Kimo" Mawae, and William M. "Bill" Higa; brothers Robert and William "Takeshi" Higa; sisters Florence Ha and Rose Chynoweth; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
