MARY JANE HARRISON
Screenshot 2014-11-10 08.13MARY JANE HARRISON October 22, 2014 Mary Jane Harrison, 62, of Honolulu, Hi. Born March 15, 1952, she passed away peacefully in bed with her husband by her side at approximately 8 PM in Las Vegas on October 22, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Harrison, her two sons, Clint Souza and Troy Souza, brother Paul deVille, and 5 grandchildren. She had been fi ghting cancer for a long time and was no longer able to enjoy the simple things in life. Mary Jane was born and raised in Hawaii, on Oahu, but loved the excitement she got going to Las Vegas. She graduated from St. Francis High School in 1970. She worked as a medical receptionist at Straub for Dr. Matthew Pien, and later directly for Dr. Pien when he left to start his own practice. She eventually retired and soon after moved to Las Vegas with her husband to start a new adventure in her life. Mary Jane was very fond of animals, especially dogs. She started a dog sitting business which was much more of a passion than a job. It was very diffi cult for her to eventually have to give up this business and her furry clients. In Hawaii Mary Jane attended Hope Chapel Mililani Church, and in Las Vegas she attended Epic Church. Funeral services will be held at Borthwick Mortuary Mauka Chapel on November 18, 2014. The dress is casual or aloha attire. The family will be in the chapel from 9:30 AM, prior to services beginning at 10 AM. Lunch will follow at 11 AM. Burial will begin at 2 PM at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
