79Mildred Okumoto "Millie" Higa, 78, of Pearl City, a teacher for Eleele and Waiau elementary schools, died in Pali Momi Medical Center. She was born in Port Allen, Kauai. She is survived by daughters Stephanie F. Higa, Valerie M. Fernandez and Kathy M. Miller; sister Jean M. Kitsuki; and a grandchild.
