74Shigeo "Shige" Higa, 88, of Kaneohe, a retired welder for the University of Hawaii at Manoa Engineering Department and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Kaneohe. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Florence M. and sons Malcolm S. and Gordon K. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 10 a.m. Cas*ual attire.
