RITA A. KAMAUNU On November 4, 2014, Rita A. Kamaunu, 69, of Kailua Oahu, passed into eternal life. Survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Alden H.K. Kamaunu; children, Carolyn Ann (Joe) L.K. Hawpe and Alden (Patricia) H.K. Kamaunu II of Reno, NV; 5 grandchildren; sister, Annetta Croom of Riverside, CA & loving family & friends. Born in Redlands, CA, alumna of Palm Springs HS and cosmetologist in CA and HI. Active in civic & community affairs in Kailua as Title IX coord. at Kailua Elem Sch, President & Board Chair of Kailua Jaycees Auxillary & team Mom/AGC for AYSO Reg 100 soccer. Retired after 25 years as Office Mgr at Roy Hamada's State Farm Ins Agcy. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tues. Dec. 2, 2014 at St. John Vianney Church, Kailua. Visitation 9 am, Services 10 am. Commital 1 pm at HI State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire. Lei and flowers welcome.
