77Ellen Tamaki Harano, 87, of Kealakekua, Hawaii, a homemaker, died in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Fukuoka, Japan. She is survived by sons Nelson and Melvin, brother Fukumi Tanaka, stepbrothers Iwai and Takao Tanaka, stepsister Mariko Ishibashi and a grandchild. Visitation: 3 p.m. Dec. 13 at Kona Hongwanji. Services: 4 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
