80Joseph Soares Medeiros Jr., 92, of Makawao, Maui, a retired state wildlife biologist, died at home. He was born in Waiakoa, Maui. He is survived by wife Ruth Kuni-Medeiros, daughter Rose Marie, sisters Rose Marie Protacio and Ruth M. DePonte, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
