SAMSON FLORES SARANILLO, SR. Age 89, of Aiea, HI, passed away November 17, 2014 in Aiea. Born January 17, 1925 in Kihei, Maui. He retired from the Federal Government as a Navy Seabee & machinist/mechanic. What was important to him was his faithful support to his family and the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He also loved to share music, rated "G" jokes and stories of "Maui No Ka Oi" days. "We're okay in spite of" will be remembered. "You will be missed, but only for a moment". Rev. 21:3,4. He is survived by sons, Samson Saranillo, Jr., David (Pooney) Saranillo, Dathan Saranillo; daughters, Eunice (Raymond Jr.) Duarte, Janice Rivers, Tammy (Russell) Lopes, Jojo (Weymouth Jr.) K.; brother, Peter Saranillo; sisters, Emma Tanghal, Delapas Aguinaldo, Ursula Saranillo; 19 grand- children; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews. Visitation 5:00 p.m. Sunday (Dec 14) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Wake Service 6:00 p.m. Flowers welcome.
