72Chieko Nitta, 94, of Kekaha, Kauai, a Waimea High School cafeteria helper, died in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. She was born in Waimea, Kauai. She is survived by sons Glenn T. and Gary S.; daughter Gail Y. Kawamura; brother James Okada; sisters Sakiko Okihara, Nobue Watanabe and Tokiko Murakami; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Private services.
