Lawrence was retired from the United States Air Force & United States Postal Service. He is survived by wife, Setsuko Canon; daughters, Denise Canon, Monique Canon Tingkang; sons, Guy (Ferlina) Canon, Steven (Carolyn) Canon; brother, Danny Canon; 11 grandchildren.
