DEBRA LYNN STANFIELD MOORE
$nameDEBRA LYNN STANFIELD MOORE Kapolei, HI, formerly of Milwaukee, WI Debra Lynn Stanfield Moore, 56, of Kapolei, HI, died Thursday, October 2, 2014 in Kapolei, HI, after a courageous battle with cancer. Debbie grew up in Milwaukee, attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison and graduated from the College of Medicine at the University of Florida. Debbie was a Certified Physician Assistant and member of the National Association of Physician Assistants. Throughout her career she specialized in the ophthalmology, cardiology, urology and gastroenterology fields, working for the Eye Institute of Florida, the Hawaii Eye Center and most recently at Tripler Army Medical Center, where she delivered preventative gastroenterology cancer screenings. Debbie also took medical missions trips to South Pacific Island nations, where she volunteered her medical expertise in vision care to residents. In addition to her work in medicine, Debbie was a FAA-certified pilot, rated in airplane single engine land and sea, and belonged to the General Aviation Council of Hawaii. Debbie also enjoyed sail boarding, sailing and kayaking. In her free time, she delivered sailboats from the United States to the Caribbean and South American regions. Dalmatians had a special place in her heart and Debbie owned and managed an AKC Grand Champion Dalmatian; she was a member of the Leeward Training Club of Hawaii. Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Robert P. Moore, of Kapolei; father, Harold William Stanfield and wife, Paulette, of Brookfield, WI; brother, Grant Stanfield and wife, Margaret, of Ripon, WI; sisters, Patricia Stanfield, of Kea'au, HI, and Paula Koss and husband, Scott, of Delafield, WI; step-son, Christopher P. Moore and wife, Tammy, and their children, Briana, Alex and Naomi Moore, of Seminole, FL; and step-daughter, Heather D. Medina and husband, Jose, and their children, Teigen and Sebastian Medina, of Tampa, FL. Debra was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Velma (Graff) Stanfield. A celebration of life service will be Saturday, January 17, 2015, between 1-5 PM at the Pacific Aviation Museum, 319 Lexington Blvd., Honolulu, HI 96818. Entry into the museum for the celebration is covered.
