FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

Melvin "Butchie" Shigeyuki Yamada
MELVIN BUTCHIE SHIGEYUKI YAMADA 73 passed away on 07/23/14 in Las Vegas, NV. Graduated St. Louis High School 1958 and served in the 442nd Infantry Army Reserve. Attended the UH for 2 years and became a direct salesman selling siding to homeowners and later extended his knowledge of home building and improvements and became a building contractor. He loved music, singing karaoke, cooking, eating and especially playing "live" poker. He was awesome in blackjack and on 01/20/12 won Fremont's Progressive Pai Gow. Easygoing, kind and funny person, he will always be a part of me and will surround me with love, always and forever. He is survived by his wife Carol Ann (Uejo) (Miyahira) Yamada, 3 sons, 1 daughter, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Brother Byron (Joan) Yamada, Sisters Merle (Late Bill) Honjiyo and Dyanne (Ed) McGrath. Private services were held on 12/05/14.
