Takeo "Joe" Shimabukuro, 89, of Honolulu, an Army veteran and a retired general foreman pipefitter with Shop 56 at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by daughters Jan K., Rae A. and Lee T.; brother Dean; sisters Sadako Matsukawa, Helen Tatsumi, Betty Monguchi and Violet Okada; and two grandchildren. Private services.
