Charles J. Ewart III
Jan. 3, 2015 Charles J. "Charlie" Ewart III, 79, of Honolulu, a retired geo-hydrologist and teacher of English as a second language for the state Department of Education and Hawaii Literacy, and a Marine Corps sergeant, died in Honolulu. He was born in Rochester, N.Y. He is survived by wife Marie-Terese "Terry," sons Charles J. IV and David M., sisters Patricia Miller and Shirley Bartholomew, and three grandchildren.
