74Janet Brule Pettengill, 92, of Kailua died on the mainland. She was born on Michigan's Upper Peninsula. She is survived by sons Kenneth Brooks and Greg Pettengill; daughters Sky Mitchell, Evelyn Larsen, Mary Peoples, Essie Swanson and Cary-Padmani Brown; stepsons John and David; stepdaughter Gail French; brothers Warren and John D. Brule; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services to be held in Vermont.
