Jiro Matsui, 89, of Honolulu, a retired state budget analyst and an Army Military Intelligence Service veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Maalaea, Maui. He is survived by sons Clyde, Randy and Bobby; brothers Tetsuo, Warren "Masa-ichi," Jeffrey "Yoshio" and Hideo; sisters Kay "Kikue" Muraoka and Ellen "Hisako" Matsui; and two grandchildren.
