James Hiromi Nohara, 83, of Mililani, a retired Department of Education personnel administrator and an Army veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. He is survived by wife Rosetta; son Todd; daughters Jeri Nohara, Lora Baysa and Caroline Atterberry; brother John Bustillo; sisters Gladys Satterfield, Vernel Langford, Mildred Nacapuy and Kay Bustillo; and two grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at Resurrection of the Lord, 94-1260 Lumikula St., Waipahu. Mass: 10 a.m. Committal service: 1 p.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
