JOSEPH S. UNCLE JOE SALANGDRON Age 79, from Waialua, HI, passed away January 18, 2015 in Honolulu, HI. Born December 25, 1935 in Kealakekua, Kona, HI. A Marine veteran who served during the Korean War and mess hall chef at Schofield Barracks. He retired as a custodian from Waialua High School. He is survived by sons, Rodman (Rosy) Salangdron, James (Lynell) Salangdron; daughters, Tammy (Terry) Onizuka, Brittany Marie Salangdron, Mary (Shane) Ramones; brother, Stanley (Noriko) Salangdron; sisters, Dolores Salangdron, Shirley Borje, Connie (Tracy) Troxell, Philomena (Gary) Goldie, Presilda (Perla) Doctolero, Roxanne (Ruben) Acosta, Doreen (Joe) Tolentino; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grand- children. Visitation 5:30 p.m., Wednesday (Feb. 25) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Funeral service 6:30 p.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
